Work in progress - Getting back to this portrait- a nod to one of my all time favourites -“living master Yuqi Wang”. I adore the work, the artist and the man. I was so fortunate to have been introduced to him by my maestro Fernando Freitas @academyofrealistarttoronto.
Art circles run tight... I have been very blessed to have been influenced by great artists on my artistic journey. 🙏🎨Learning from the masters - I’ll give it my best shot Yuqi!😉
Continuing to channel my inner “Yuqi Wang”through a copy after him.. working on form modelling and breaking down the shadows. He makes it look so easy🙃- he is a “painting genius” 👍
