Salmagundi Club - Ghost Image Exhibit 2022

I felt profound gratitude as I ascended the staircase leading up to the @salmagundiclub to deliver my work for the “Ghost Image” exhibit.

This brownstone mansion in Greenwich Village, New York, NY, is one of America’s oldest arts organizations and is a professional and social club created by artists and patrons to support one another.

It was an immense honour to be invited to show with artists and friends that I so admire. I felt the support that this club boasts - the support was palpable.

Thank you to the Salmagundi Club, The Board of Directors, The Chairman of the Board, the President, Library Chairman, Curator and the Committees. Thank you to the collectors, patrons and fellow artists for making this artist feel so welcome and at home.

The opening reception was impeccable and breathtaking - it felt like a dream.

The Club has continuously championed representational artists from its founding with iconic members like Thomas Moran, William Merritt Chase, Louis Comfort Tiffany and N.C. Wyeth.

Today’s members and recently passed members are some of the most recognized names representational art including Jacob Collins, Max Ginsburg, Richard Schmid and Daniel E. Greene to name a few.

The “Ghost Image” exhibit is on until Dec. 4th. My paintings 🖼 and many beautiful works of art by my artist colleagues are available through the Salmagundi Club. Please see the exhibit and acquire a piece for your personal collection and celebrate 🎉 in supporting the arts 🎨🥰❣️
