The essence of the White Rabbit transcending into puffs of smoke is a clue that he is “running late for an important date.” He leaves these objects for Alice with much love at the bottom of the rabbit hole to assist in her journey to self discovery – aka Wonderland.
The White rabbit is Alice’s psyche and alter ego – a second version of herself that people rarely see embodying her mind, soul and spirit.
The concentric circles found within the lollipop echo those rabbit holes she often finds herself in while the “G” in its center stands for “gifts” of self empowerment.
The little white porcelain elephant represents all of the friends and foes she meets along the way while the bejeweled black velvet glove is a nod to her alter ego W. Rabbit.
The red satin drapery embellished with green fringe is something one might find in a magician’s bag of tricks reminding Alice to keep her eyes on any “slight-of-hand” in Wonderland as she is no one’s fool.
The “Eat Me” note pokes fun at this nonsensical world that she finds herself in and the absurd trial an error way she navigates her way through it. It symbolizes her reluctance to conform with unfairness and instead stays true to herself and blazes a path true to Alice.
The glass orb represents her world and all of the mystical experiences she encounters along the way to finding her true and authentic self.
