In this two day workshop in Durham, Ontario, Canada, students will be introduced to the techniques After The Masters by creating a Poster Study from a historical exemplar.

No previous art training is required as this is an Introductory Course in oil painting.

This class is available to learners ages 13 to 19.

Each learner will learn to paint in oil through lectures based on:

• The Stages of Painting

• Anatomy

• Colour Mixing

• Form Modelling

• Colour Relationships

• Planes of the Face

Exemplars will be provided for each student.

AlexandreaArtist will spend one-on-one time with each artist to enhance learning.

AlexandreaArtist will demonstrate and assess the work of each student to help improve each learner’s painting skills based on the exemplar provided.
