"Winged King of the Avians" Wins "Best Portrait Award" from The Portrait Society of Canada
I have just found out that I won ‘The Best of Portrait’ 🖼️ in The Portrait Society of Canada competition entitled ‘The Miracle of the Portrait’.
Thank you 😊 to The Portrait Society of Canada - I am so honoured and this really feels like an early Christmas 🎄 gift 🎁❣️❤️🥰 I would like to thank the jurors Michael John Angel, Gwenneth Barth and Veronica Kvassetskaia-Tsyglan - all masters in their own right - for this honour. I love 💕 being an artist 👩🎨 and this opportunity makes going into the studio everyday so wonderful😊… even on days … when facing a blank canvas can be so daunting 😶☠️and so challenging… as my fellow artist friends and colleagues already know. I want to congratulate the other artists on their work- this is a true celebration 🎉 of the arts 🎭 ❣️I am one proud artist and one proud Canadian to be a part of this competition. 🙌 I love ❤️ portraiture because I love 💕 people … and as one of my favourite quotes by Elmers goes “Art is when a human tells another human what it means to be human.”🎨 Thank you Portrait Society of Canada - “Art truly makes you breathe a different kind of happiness”😊❣️🎨(-Albers)
